So I guess the previous synopsis for issue 40 saying Francine falls for Griffen Silver was a red herring? Or will we actually see that later?

Just after that info hit, Terry said here on the board that all of the solicitation info he had given for the issues this year had been bogus. The only advance info that we have seen that is correct has been for the summer fun issue(slumber party issue)

I'm not sure it is a red herring as much as postponed.
I've been thinking about this one a bit, but think about it. Griffen Silver is in many ways a male version of Katchoo...
I see the two characters as being very similar in thier self destructive ways. Their passion and poetry. Remember how much Katchoo identifies with the songs that Griffen writes?
Could be wrong, but I think Griffen will have quite a impact on the story down the road...

Well at least the red herring "nude statue in the courtyard" thing has really happened according to issue 40. So that we might actually see in print one day. I?d like to anyway.
I actually saved the previews with that synopsis. It also has a commercial which actually shows the nude statue from behind and Francine getting shocked to bits.

Aaauggh... oh the pain, stop the punishment!
Hee hee hee...
Hopefully someday we will get to see the bit with the statue. Do you think we could get Terry to put up a Herring page and show us the "psych!" covers he's done to keep us guessing? That would be nice, I love seeing his stuff even if it's not actually being used for anything story-related... I loved the sketchbook pages he would sometimes show us, I miss those(although I understand not wanting to show people only sketch material).
